Barges
Arena Offshore is proud of being a very active Offshore Broker for the the sale & purchase and chartering of any BARGE types. They are mainly grouped as Flat top barges, Accomodation Barges (with or without Crane), Jack-Up barges, Split Hopper barges and etc. The Barges are used for the transportation of goods either heavy or oversized or bulk and sometimes for accommodation purposes.Some barges are self-propelled whereas some are nonself-propelled and operated with a tugboat’s assistance to mobilise and demobilise from its location. Jack-up barges are also grouped as propelled and non-propelled in addition to their leg lenghts. With this legs they are rised above the water level and are used in the construction jobs and also Oil & Gas projects at Offshore Split Barges also play an important role in the marine industry. They are used for carrying the cargoes (ie sand, rock, mud, etc) from shore to outside and discharge the same from the bottom by splitting the hull longitudinally.
